GE Monogram Refrigerator Not Cooling
- Make sure the temperature settings are 0ºF in the freezer compartment and 37ºF in the refrigerator compartment.
- Ensure that both the freezer and refrigerator door are closing properly. If the door is not closing correctly, maybe something is blocking it from inside the unit. The best way is to remove all the items from the inside and the door shelves and then try to close the door. If the problem persists, it might be something wrong with the door or the door gasket.
- Clean the condenser regularly. Dust buildup will cause the compressor to overheat and will create all kinds of temperature problems. It is important to clean the condenser coils once a year to prevent temperature issues and keep the refrigerator in good shape for a long time. Condenser cleaning is part of our regular Monogram refrigerator maintenance service.
GE Monogram Dishwasher Not Draining
- Clean the drain filter regularly. To clean the drain filter, remove the bottom rack, twist the filter counterclockwise, and lift it. Rinse the filter with a sponge and soapy water to remove all food particles. Once it is clean, replace the filter and twist it clockwise to lock it into place. An arrow on the filter should be used as a guide to align the placement of the drain filter.
- Make sure the air gap is clear of debris and food particles. The air gap prevents water from backing up from the disposer into the dishwasher. Cleaning the air gap is usually a simple task but sometimes it's necessary to remove the air gap from the sink to clean it. - If you recently installed the food waste disposer, make sure you removed the drain plug. If not, the water will not drain into the disposer.
- Do not use any chemical drain cleaner such as "Drano" or "Liquid Plumr" in your Monogram dishwasher. These chemicals can damage internal dishwasher parts and cause other property damage.
GE Monogram Microwave Not Heating
If your GE Monogram microwave runs but it's not heating, we recommend calling the repair professional for help. The high-voltage circuit is part of every microwave. Working with the high-voltage can seriously harm you or even cause the loss of life. Therefore, only the qualified service person should service the Monogram microwave oven.

GE Monogram Oven Not Heating
- Monogram Gas Ovens. The most common problem is a faulty oven igniter. The igniter might not be glowing at all, or it might glow with very low intensity, causing the long preheating time and other temperature problems. Replacing the oven igniter is necessary in both cases to make the oven functioning correctly.
- Monogram Electric Ovens. Visually check all the heating elements for damages and replace them if necessary. Before any attempt to work on the Monogram oven, disconnect the electricity to prevent any electrical shock. GE Monogram Ice Maker Not Working
Ice production depends on the freezer temperature. The freezer temperature must reach 16℉ before the icemaker cycle begins. If the freezer temperature is not good enough, the Monogram ice maker will make ice slowly because it will take a longer time to freeze up the water into ice cubes. Try adjusting the freezer temperature on a lower setting.
Change the water filter regularly. The old and clogged water filter will restrict water flow to the icemaker. Depending on usage, you should replace the water filter every six months.
GE Monogram Freezer Not Freezing
- Check the condenser coils regularly. Over time, dust will collect on the condenser coils, obstructing proper airflow, and the compressor will start overheating. As a result, your Monogram freezer will begin to worm up. Clean the condenser at least once a year to help your freezer operating optimally.
- Check the door gasket for damages and tears on your Monogram freezer door. If the door seal is damaged or cracked, it will start leaking cold air, and the temperature will begin to rise inside the freezer. The damaged door gasket needs to be replaced for optimal freezer performance.
- Ensure that the freezer door is closing correctly. If not, check if something is blocking the door from the inside.
